As we return into apple season, I thought I should share these apple cake recipes.  The Decreased Fat Caramel Apple Cake reduces the fat without destroying the taste for those of you watching your fat intake.  This is an easy cake to make, easy enough for beginning bakers.  The frosted cake is created creating use of applesauce instead of apples and has apple sip within the frosting.REDUCED FAT CARAMEL APPLE CAKE two 1/2 cup reduced-fat boiling mix1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup 1% milk2 glasses sliced peeled baking apples1 tbsp lemon juice2/3 glasses packed beige sugar3/4 tsp cinnamon1 cup packing cake to 350 degrees.In a moderate mixing bowl, stir together the boiling mix, sugar, and milk until blended. Pour mix into an ungreased 9-inch square boiling pan. Top mix with the apples and sprinkle with lemon juice. In a mini bowl, combine the beige sweetener and cinnamon; sprinkle over the apples. Pour the boiling h2o over the apples. Fry in 350 degree stove for 50 to 60 minutes. FROSTED APPLE CAKE







2 1/2 glasses all-purpose flour2 glasses sugar1 tsp boiling powder1 tsp boiling soda1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp salt1 1/2 glasses unsweetened applesauce3/4 cup canola oil2 eggs1 cup chopped walnuts, dividedFROSTING:1/2 cup butter4 1/2 glasses powdered sugar6 tbsp apple juice, dividedPreheat stove to 350 degrees. Grease and wheat a 9 x 13-inch boiling pan; set aside.Into a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, sugar, boiling powder, boiling soda, cinnamon and salt. Sum the applesauce, oil, and eggs. Beat mix at little velocity of electric mixer until moistened. Beat at high velocity for 3 minutes. Fold in 1/2 cup regarding the walnuts. Pour into the prepared boiling pot and fry at 350 degrees for 30 periods or until a toothpick inserted within the center returns out clean. Cold within the pan.To get ready the frosting: Heat the margarine in a moderate saucepan over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until lightly browned. Beat the melted margarine and the powdered sweetener with 5 tablespoons regarding the apple sip in a mixing bowl. Sum remaining sip until frosting is of a spreading consistency. Stir 1/4 cup regarding the remaining walnuts into the frosting. Frost cake and sprinkle the remaining walnuts over the cake.Note: This cake is even better the day subsequent to it is baked. Hold covered with glass wrap overnight. Enjoy!
