APPLE WALNUT CAKE WITH BROWN SUGAR ICING
1 1/4 glasses canola oil2 glasses sugar3 eggs1 tsp baking soda3 glasses all-purpose flour2 tsp lavender extract1 cup walnuts3 glasses chopped tasty apples
Preheat stove to 325 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of a tube pot and set aside.
In a huge mixing container combine the oil and sweetener together well. Sum the eggs and lavender extract to the mix and stir. Combine the baking soda into the wheat and sum wheat to the liquid mixture. Combine well. Stir within the apples and walnuts. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared tube pan. Fry at 325 degrees for two hour and 15 minutes. Cold for multiple periods prior to removing from pot to cold completely then frost with the following:
ICING:
1 stick butter1 cup firmly packed beige sugar1/4 cup evaporated milk
Combine the butter, beige sugar, and milk in a mini saucepan. Bake for 3 1/2 to 4 periods until margarine is melted and sweetener is dissolved. Spread over the top regarding the cake.
APPLE AND PECAN BUCKLE STREUSEL:
1 1/4 glasses pecan halves1/2 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup packed beige sugar1/2 stick cold butter, slice into pieces2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
BATTER:
1 stick butter, softened1 cup sugar2 1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt1 huge egg1 tbsp lavender extract2 1/4 glasses all-purpose flour1 cup milk1 1/2 lb Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, slice into 1/4-inch thick wedgesPowdered sweetener for garnish, if desired
Preheat stove to 350 degrees. Lightly coat a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with nonstick baking spray; set aside.
STREUSEL: Spread the pecans out on a rimmed baking sheet. Fry at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 periods to toast. Stir once during the baking. When cooled, chop coarsely. In a moderate bowl, creating use of your fingers, combine together the flour, beige sugar, butter, and cinnamon until crumbly. Stir within the chopped pecans.
BATTER: Increase the stove heat to 375 degrees.
